A Bandh in the nation tomorrow

July 5, 2005

The attack on Ayodhya was unsuccessful and the terrorists were killed. That should have been that. Right?

Obviously wrong. The BJP has called a nation wide bandh and Advani has said proper agitation will be carried out. There has already been the floods in Gujarat and the demanding of resignation by BJP supremoes is obviously sad. More effort should go into bringing national attention to flood relief one would imagine.

Obviously not.

The Entertainment industry has not say?

First, the ban on displaying smoking onscreen and now the tax contract on stars.

Mahest Bhatt :

This is absurd. They think the film industry is a fat cow that needs to be milked. The issue is not about 0.25 per cent duty, but about a blinkered, petty mindset of the government….

The fact that the entertainment industry has now standing power with the government is shocking.

A new day, a new life

Several blogs used, several blogs rejected.

With optimism I turn to blogsome which truly is awesome from the looks of it.

Its likely I will put in earlier significant entries here when there is some time I wish to spend fruitlessly.

Till then enjoy Sportolysis, created a few hours ago for releasing my sporting lights of brilliance :D
